This pure, unfragranced candle is inspired by Mary, the Immaculate Conception. She is the patron saint of the United States, Argentina, Brazil, and numerous US dioceses. Her feast day is December 8. Soy free and fragrance free.

Behind the Inspiration

The dogma of the Immaculate Conception, declaring Mary's purity and miraculous preservation from original sin, was promulgated in 1854 by Pope Pius IX. Mary herself used this title a few years later when appearing to St. Bernadette Soubirous, reminding us of the power of God's redemptive grace.
