One dark Hallow's Eve, the saints look down from paradise and see something that's not quite right.
A holy night meant to point us to God and the glory of heaven... has turned into a holiday of spooks and scares!
A joyful band of saints--Francis, Lucy, Faustina, Philip Neri, and many more--come to the rescue. Joining a group of children for trick-or-treating, they light up jack-o'-lanterns with God's love, pray for the souls of the departed, share laughter and joy, and reveal the true heart of Hallowtide.
Through playful rhyme and charming illustrations, The Night the Saints Saved Halloween will help your family:
- Reclaim Halloween as a truly Catholic celebration
- Teach children about Halloween, All Saints, and All Souls
- See "scary" symbols in light of Christ's victory over death
